Gallery gears up for the holidays

Art Business News, Dec, 2005

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- Wilde Meyer Discoveries presents three exhibits through the month of December, featuring the gallery's artists and ranging from holiday gifts to works of art from the "Old West."

"Celebrating Art" pays tribute to the artists at Wilde Meyer Discoveries gallery and includes pieces by Italian-born painter Germana Federico, as well as Tucson, AZ-based artists Ka Fisher and Barbara Gurwitz.

The exhibit "New West," takes a look at the "Old West" and includes artist Fran Larson's New Mexico landscapes; Jim Nelson's Native symbols in radiant colors; and Thom Ross' contemporary approach to stories surrounding Wyatt Earp.

And the annual "Gem Show" will again feature small treasures, perfect for holiday gifts. The show includes colorful landscapes by Michael Baum; contemporary paintings by Timothy Chapman; and animal watercolors by Patricia Hunter.
