Los Angeles Antiques Show to draw celebrity collectors

LOS ANGELES -- The Eighth-Annual Los Angeles Antiques Show returns to Barker Hangar May 2 to 4. Celebrity visitors sighted at the 2002 show included Diane Keaton, James Karen, Alba Francesca, Howie Mandel, Rita Wilson, Steve Martin, Harry Morgan, Emilio Esteves, Leonard Nimoy, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Eisner, Julian Sands, Bridget Fonda, Jaclyn Smith and event Honorary co-chairs Cindra and Allan Ladd, Jr., and Susan and Harold Becker. Organizers said the 2003 edition will also be a must-see for the celebrity set.

Organized by the Antiques Dealers Association of California (ADAC), the show presents 66 antiques galleries from the U.S. and abroad offering an array of antiques, including European, American and Asian furniture; paintings, sculpture, prints and art posters; rugs and textiles; ancient Chinese ceramics and statuary; jewels; fine porcelain; glass and silver; folk art and more.

The Los Angeles Antiques Show opens with a Gala preview to benefit the projects of Women's Guild of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center May 1.
