It seems Prince William is trying to keep his post-collegiate options open. According to the Associated Press, the prince, who is studying art history at Scotland's St. Andrews University, rejected an offer to apply for a position with Swann Auction Galleries upon graduation. "I know Prince William much appreciated your kind invitation.
I am afraid, however, he has no plans to stay in America and so it will therefore not be possible for him to accept your offer," wrote Helen Asprey, Prince William's personal secretary, to Swann president Nicholas D. Lowry. Lowry said that, should the prince reconsider, the offer still stands.
