DENVER and SANTA FE, N.M.--International art marketing consultants Sue Viders and Geoffrey Gorman recently started Art Marketing Workshops (www.artmarketineworkshops.com), an online school dedicated to teaching artists and craftspeople how to market their products.
The four-week workshops, which started in February, provide practical, current information from a variety of marketing experts around the country, according to company officials. Classes are taught by instructors who have experience guiding artists in marketing topics, according to Viders and Gorman.
Each class is designed around a four-week schedule with different topics e-mailed to students at the beginning of each week. Students keep in touch with each other and the teacher via a closed loop e-mail system.
Viders and Gorman have more than 40 years of experience helping creative individuals market and sell their products. Both are authors, columnists and workshop leaders.
