Wizard Int'l. and Goltz launch marketing guide - in the news - Brief Article
Art Business News, April, 2002
MUKILTEO, Wash.--Computerized mat cutter manufacturer Wizard International and Jay Goltz, owner of Artists' Frame Services in Chicago and founder of FramerSelect, released a marketing and merchandising guide, exclusively designed for Wizard CMC users, in March.
"The Wizard mat cutter can do much more than save money and decrease aggravation. The Wizard Marketing and Merchandising Guide is designed to help custom framers capitalize on the technological advancements of the CMC, which can substantially improve their bottom line," said Goltz, author of The Street Smart Entrepreneur: 133 Tough Lessons I Learned the Hard Way.
In January, Wizard and Goltz partnered in the development of a step-by-step reference guide of marketing techniques and strategies to meet the high number of customer requests for such information. Authored by Goltz, the "Wizard CMC Marketing and Merchandising Guide" illustrates how to market the advancements of the CMC through pricing and display techniques designed to increase sales, according to company officials. Some of the topics include selling better designs, attracting more customers and incorporating pricing strategies that provide a good value to the customer while maximizing professionalism and profitability. The guide is free to all current and future Wizard customers.
