The top floor of the former Texas School Book Depository, the building where an assassin fired shots at President John F. Kennedy 40 years ago, has been converted into an art gallery. Currently on view is a show of silk-screened portraits of Jacqueline Kennedy made by Andy Warhol in the months after the assassination.
Down one flight is the Sixth Floor Museum, which opened in 1989 and has become one of the most popular historic destinations in Texas. The show remains on view through Oct. 26.
