Since January 2001, patrons of the Brooklyn Museum of Art in New York have eagerly awaited the reopening of the building's from entrance, which, along with front plaza, has been undergoing renovations. The opening on April 17 and 18 will reveal the long-awaited $63-million-dollar redesign that will feature a shingled-glass pavilion, new visitor's center, limestone staircase and two foundations.
