KAPOLEI, HI -- The Hawaiian artist Walfrido Garcia--known as Walfrido--introduces his new publishing company, Heart Rock Productions, L.L.C. Known for his dramatic use of light and unique compositions, Walfrido captures the allure and magic of the islands, from the mysterious seacaves of Kauai to the lavas-capes of the big island.
Walfrido is the son of Edgardo F. Garcia, a well-known artist and instructor. He was discovered by Wyland Galleries, a major gallery chain on the islands, where his work is popular among collectors. Today, his works can be found in acclaimed galleries, such as the Thomas Kinkade galleries.
