LOS ANGELES -- Creative Artists Agency will host "Angel Art" an exclusive art auction benefiting Project Angel Food, on April 29, at the Creative Artists Agency building. The artwork is procured by a committee of art experts, led by Project Angel Food board member and art advisor, Esthella Provas. Serving as auctioneer will be Andrea Fiuczynski, president of Christie's Los Angeles. This year's works will range in value from $4,000 to $75,000. Past "Angel Art" auctions have included works by Ed Ruscha, John Baldessari, Ellsworth Kelly, David Hockney, Cindy Sherman and Cecily Brown.
Project Angel Food's mission is to nourish the body and spirit of men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses, such as cancer, diabetes, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's by delivering free meals.
