Topic: RSS FeedNow's the time to market your art online
Art Business News, April, 2006 by Susanne Casgar
The Art Business News e-Gallery at artandframinggallery.com is something that I want you to know about. We've offered many ways for you to market your art and your art businesses, so now here is another option that some of you may not be aware of, or are a little unsure of.
Rest easy. I'm about to explain.
The Art Business News e-Gallery is an online, virtual art gallery for SOLO artists, art publishers, and art galleries, enabling them to display their artwork in a professional manner to a much wider audience.
SOLO artists and art publishers that build an ABN e-Gallery also have the option to link their profiles to www.artandframinSOURCES.com the leading search engine for the art and framing industry.
Users are able to search directly from the home page of the ABN e-Gallery, or by clicking "Search the ABN e-Gallery" in the navigation pane. After you have entered the key word, it will bring up your request, and you can then click on the gallery name or the link to "View the ABN e-Gallery," to get more detailed information about the artist or publisher and the artwork that they are presenting on the site.
The ABN e-Gallery includes the newest and freshest galleries of artwork. Who is it for? It's for SOLO artists, photographers, galleries and publishers who want to create an exciting internet presence on our art and framing community Web site, giving them greater access to art buyers. More than 2,000 visits are tallied each month, with the number growing at a fast rate.
Why did we build the site? Because art and framing is what we do. We market the ABN e-Gallery using the latest search engine optimization tools and through the pages and e-newsletters of our sister publications; Art Business News and DECOR Magazine. Art collectors and aficionados, as well as novice collectors, can search online.
Is it user-friendly? The answer is yes. Creating a profile listing and uploading electronic images of your artwork is an easy, automated, six-step process on the Web that takes only a few minutes.
Included in the profile are direct links to your e-mail address, Web site address, your logo, a welcome paragraph, three profile paragraphs, a key word entry and up to 12 additional contacts. The artwork page can hold up to 45 electronic images of your art work, including thumbnail and enlarged versions, title, artist name, media type, dimensions and a description. The ABN e-gallery can be searched by media type, artist name, artwork title, and keyword. You also get an additional listing on www.artandframingsources.com.
We are here to help you get started. If you have any questions, or need more information, call Greg Jones at 216-750-0352, 800-608-5300, ext. 248, or send an e-mail to GJones@pfpublish.com. Greg will be glad to help you.
