Greenfield announces Motherwell exhibit

SANTA MONICA, CA -- Bobbie Greenfield Gallery announces its upcoming Robert Motherwell (1915-1991) exhibition, "Africa Suite: Ink Drawings and Related Prints." The exhibition will feature the 11 original studies and the 10 resulting silkscreens from the "Africa Suite" (1970). The drawings are bold ink-on-paper gestures with white acrylic over-painting and white paper masking done in Motherwell's iconic black-and-white palette.

The 10 resulting silkscreens are large in format 40 3/4 x 28 1/4 inches. The exhibition runs from April 1-May 6.
