SHELTON, Conn.--This month, the Greenwich Workshop Press will publish Howard Terpning: Spirit of the Plains People. His first book, The Art of Howard Terpning, published in 1992, featured a seminal collection of his paintings and won the Wrangler Award from the Cowboy Artists' Hall of Fame for Best Art Book of the year. The new book features paintings by Terpning and essays by Don Hedgpeth.
