Art Business News, May, 2001
New to Artexpo this year was a section called Framing Business Expo. Though the section was small, several exhibitors said it has potential.
"The majority of exhibitors were pleased with the performance of the inaugural event," said Liza Wylie, Artexpo show director. "Many said they met buyers they have not met at other framing industry events. We look forward to bringing an even larger Framing Business Expo to New York in 2002."
"It was good for a first-time show," said Tom Hagerman of the Van Patten Co. "I didn't write much business, but I did get some pretty good contacts. If those all pan out, it was a good show."
"We got some leads, and if some of them work out, it will be well worth our time attending," said David Ganguet, Victor Moulding national sales manager.
