Hadley House contributes $57,568 to Red Cross - news - American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund - Brief Article

Art Business News,  May, 2002

BLOOMINGTON, Minn.--National art publisher Hadley House and its artists have raised $57,568 for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund through the Patriotic Poster Collection. The collection is comprised of six posters, and all proceeds from the sale of these posters through Dec. 31, 2001 have been donated to the Red Cross.

"We are delighted to donate the profits from the sale of our posters" said Gary W. Schmidt, president of the Hadley Companies. "I speak on behalf of all who worked on this effort: the artists who contributed creativity and time, the companies and art galleries who displayed and showed the collection to the American public, and the American consumers who selected to hang these posters in their homes and offices."

Along with the check, Schmidt presented Marian S. Adcock, c.e.o. of American Red Cross, Minneapolis Area Chapter, the poster "United We Stand." Also, in 2002, three new posters have been added to the collection, and the company will donate a portion of the proceeds from all the posters to the same fund at the end of the year.
