The Georgia Museum of Art presents through May 22, "Andree Ruellan at 100," a career retrospective of the life and works of one of America's most renowned artists. The exhibit covers a vast array of her mediums, including sketches and oil paintings that tell a collective story of her journey as an artist. Ruellan's inspirations were drawn from a variety of experiences, travels and beliefs, all of which are conveyed in her works. She focused on the common themes of humanity and had the ability to find the hidden qualities within her subjects.
