Art Business News, July, 2005
SANTA FE, NM--The Art Exchange Gallery will feature contemporary realist Jeffrey L. Neumann through July 31 and will host an artist's reception on July 22. As Neumann's third solo exhibition, the show will include a large sampling of original works, as well as selected prints,
Known for his oil and watercolor paintings of 20th-century American roadside scenes, Neumann has been painting for more than 30 years. His works seem to penetrate the American experience--the thrill of adventure and romance on the road, coupled with the loneliness and melancholy represented by rusting neon signs.
