MISSOURI CITY, TX--Beth Blankenship, former vice president of Gregory Editions/Washington Green USA, announces the opening of her newest publishing venture, West Bay Fine Art. Offering fine art reproductions and originals from established and emerging talent, the company features artists with a more contemporary nature and very limited editions with an emphasis on canvas reproductions.
"I gained a wealth of experience through my former employment, including artist and gallery relationships, production, sales and marketing, accounting, and so much more," says Blankenship. "It was a wonderful opportunity, a great 10 years and I'm thankful for the experience."
In celebration of the opening of West Bay Fine Art, the company presents the release of four canvas limited editions by the newly signed, pastel artist Julene Baker. West Bay will offer a selection of the artist's original works as well. Baker specializes in large-format flowers and foliage, using dramatic shapes, color and lighting, while focusing her attention on composition,
Baker received third place in the Still Life/Floral category of the 2004 Pastel Journal Magazine national competition and has been honored with signature status from the Pastel Society of America of New York in 2004.
