Mouldingworld.com Launches New Auction Capability

DALLAS, Texas--Mouldingworld.com recently announced that it has added an auction capability to its Web site. This new capability, according to the company, will enable buyers to save money on moulding and other framing-related products which sellers have placed up for bid on the auction site. In addition, sellers will be able to quickly move overstocks and discontinued products.

To use the auction application, buyers simply log on to the Mouldingworld.com Web site and go to the auction section. There they will see all the items that are up for bid and can place bids. Bidders will be notified via e-mail if they have placed the winning bid. Multiple items, according to the company, have already been auctioned off at prices far below wholesale.

"The moulding industry is one where there can be large quantities of moulding and other materials which sellers need to move quickly. Often, they are willing to sell these products at below their cost to generate cash or free up warehouse space," said Amy Legg, senior vice president of Mouldingworld. She continued, "These situations can provide a very attractive option to buyers. Our auction capability will bring buyers and sellers together for this purpose."
