MANCHESTER, Vt. -- Applejack Art Partners and EGIM of Milan, Italy, have formed a new partnership to market EGIM's poster collection in the United States. EGIM's collection consists of more than 2,500 images, including a large collection of classic and post-Modern artists.
EGIM, founded in 1914, represents artworks from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, classic and modern masters and a collection of photographic works. All posters are reproduced in Italy on EGIM's printing press. Starting this month, EGIM prints will be warehoused and shipped out of its new U.S. warehouse.
Giacomo and Paolo Gariboldi, managing partners in EGIM, Italy, will co-manage the venture in the United States with James Meserve, president of Applejack Art Partners.
"The opportunity to work with the Giacomo and Paolo Gariboldi in presenting their collection to a much broader market in the U.S. was something we could not pass up," said Meserve. "EGIM Italy has an outstanding reputation, and their collection is a great complement to the Applejack family of imprints and will enable us to bundle shipments and offer our customers a much wider selection".
