Art Business News, Sept, 2003
TORRANCE, Calif. -- Colville Publishing's founder, chairman and owner for over 20 years, Dr. Christian Title, is retiring from the art publishing business. Colville Publishing's Peter Iwasaki and industry veteran Carol Vidic have purchased the company and will continue to representing the contemporary fine artists who built Colville.
Along with the new owners comes a new name--Fortune Fine Art--but the staff and the stable of artists will remain the same, according to the new owners. Iwasaki and Vidic plan to add additional artists and implement new incentive programs and marketing tools to aide their clients.
"I feel very fortunate and optimistic for the future," said Vidic about the changes.
Fortune Fine Arts' toll-free number (800-350-1030) remains the same, but the address has changed to 2908 Oregon Court, Suite G-3, Torrance, CA 90503. ABN
