SAN FRANCISCO -- Dolby (www. dolby.com) is at AES with tools enabling multichannel audio mixes for TV, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio and videogames. The Dolby booth is featuring the DPS63 Dolby Surround and Pro Logic II encoder, a Do/by Pro Logic II VST software encoder and the LM 100 loudness meter.
Dolby's DP563 introduces Dolby Pro Logic II encoding to broadcasters and content creators by providing an enhanced surround sound experience via any stereo television signal.
Shown for the first time at AES this year, the DP563 Dolby Surround and Pro Logic II Encoder includes realtime encoding capability for both Dolby Pro Logic II and Dolby Surround Pro Logic.
