Yamaha showing upgraded digital boards - AES News - Brief Article

BUENA PARK, CA -- At AES, Yamaha (www.yamahaproaudio.com) is showing a number of new products, including upgrades to its DM2000 and 02R96 consoles. Version II software is now available for the two digital boards, along with five add-on effects packages representing 50 new features. Yamaha will also be showing its SPX2000 effects processor, which raises the sound quality bar to 96kHz It features the advanced REV-X algorithm.

The analog PM5000 console features the same layout and ergonomics as its PM4000 while offering the control convenience, recall abilities and versatility its digital PM I D production mixer. And the 96kHz capable, rack-mountable 01V96 digital mixing console featuring improved sound quality along with a new ADAT interface, 40 simultaneous mixing channels and full automation.
