HOLLYWOOD--For Sony's new Wega plasma screen optical engine, yU company (www.yuco.com) was asked to conceive and design the global brand identity based on the Wega logo and to show the transition from cathode ray to plasma screen technology.
To represent this transition, the identity package opens on a bonded molecule that forms the letter "V." A second "V." composed of smooth, clear lines forms out of the first and together form the letter "W" as the text Wega engine appears below.
