BURBANK -- Boutique title/optical/design house Custom Film Effects (www.customfilmeffects.com) is expanding its business to offer a broader range or visual effects services. Since its launch in January or 1999, the studio has been offering optical services, main and end titles, digital/optical manipulation, video-to-film transfers, dream sequences. Vista Vision and restoration services. The expansion includes offering clients greenscreen shooting services as well as an insert stage. CFE is also now offering clients the option of working with its in house effects supervisors and on-set consultants to aid in the planning of more complex shots.

While most of these services are designed for the film market, the studio plans to enter the television effects market and has added producer Michele Ferrone to its team to help with these efforts.
