If you add HD, they will come

MYRTLE CREEK, OR -- Artbeats (www.artbeats.com) offers royalty-free SD and HD footage. The company's library currently includes over 270 titles, 61 of which are available in HD. Artbeats first started offering royalty-free HD footage in 1998, and its HD library has grown ever since.

"Our HD sales were slow to pick up the first couple of years, but we continued to expand our HD library and we've seen our HD sales steadily increase during the last three years," says Artbeats founder/president Phil Bates.

"In addition to an aggressive HD shooting schedule, we have also developed a method of capturing uncompressed HD in telecine sessions [at Seattle's Victory Studios, and are in the process of re-transferring many of our standard definition collections to HD."
