Post, Dec, 2003
NEW YORK -- Audio post house Hothead (www.hothead.tv) recently provided sound services for 60 spots through VHI for various NFL teams that will play in stadiums throughout this year's football season. Twelve NFL teams are represented in the VHI Music Blitz package, which combines classic tracks, such as Queen's "We Will Rock You" and "Another One Bites the Dust" with imagery of football teams that include the New York Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Bengals and Dallas Cowboys. The project was brought to the studio by VHI producers Jay Moran and Mark David.

According to Hothead, 95 percent of the game footage sound was either unusable or non-existent, so they got to customize the sounds. Their approach was organic in that they tried to make the sound feel brutally real, with bones crunching, equipment colliding and players grunting.
