Wacom intros wide-format pen tablet

Post,  Dec, 2005

VANCOUVER, WA -- For artists working with multiple monitors or widescreen displays, Wacom (www.wacom.com) has introduced the Intuos3 6X11 pen tablet. It features an active area with an aspect ratio that matches the screen aspect ratio of either a widescreen display or two standard displays used together.

Intuos3 takes advantage of programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter with its intuitive controls. Programmable ExpressKeys and Touch Strips are within easy reach for modifier keys, keyboard shortcuts, scrolling, zooming and controlling brush size. The cordless, battery-free Grip Pen offers 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity, and, when used alternately with the ergonomic five-button Intuos3 mouse, reduces repetitive motion.
