Waveframe V.7.1 featuring mykerinos available - Products - Brief Article

EMERYVILLE, Calif. -- DAW manufacturer WaveFrame (www.waveframe.com) is shipping V 7.1 of its WaveFrame 7 system featuring the Mykerinos audio hardware platform running on Windows 2000. The release adds enhancements to the system that include support for integrated digital video; new 24-channel AES I/O hardware; import and export of AES-31, OMF, WaveFrame 6 and OpenTL file formats; and support for the import/export of Sound Designer II and AIFF media files.

At AES, the company also upgraded its FrameWorks/DX DAW.to Version 4.0 adding support for up to eight Mykerinos DSP boards. This allows for increased flexibility with I/O configurations of up to 64 channels. The system now supports high density 24-bit audio.
