Playing by heart: George Walker Petit's love for creating music began as a child - Audio Today & Tomorrow

Post, Feb, 2003 by Christine Bunish

The control room faces two live spaces with 11-foot ceilings. The larger studio, 16-by-10-feet, can comfortably house a jazz quintet. The "drum room, measuring 8-by-12, is "still twice the size of a typical voiceover room," Petit points out. Both live rooms have movable dividers which can enhance or change the acoustic nature of the space.

Petit, who has been joined in his one-man shop by marketing person Kim Scialabba, is "guardedly optimistic" about the future. "Bookings are up," he reveals. "Like any new company it's hard to get clients, to establish new relationships, but once people walk in here, I don't lose them."
