An animatic was first made on an Amiga using the Belgian software Softoon Pro to evaluate the rhythm of the sequence. Characters were created from original stamps which were printed on paper and scanned in B&W to create a character library. Backgrounds were designed with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and imported into Discreet 3DS Max to manage the 3D elements. Compositing was done with Discreet Combustion V.2.0, and a 3D rendering was made at 2K resolution (Cineon 10-bit) using a network of Windows 2000 work-stations and two Mac G4s.
