Post, March, 2002
NEW YORK -- Purple Cow Post (212-206-9189) in New York completed editorial on Flex City, a live-action spot for footwear manufacturer Lugz that combines special effects and animated city backgrounds.
Conceived by Avrett, Free & Ginsberg, New York, the national spot features popular hip-hop artist DJ Flex. Purple Cow's Brian Kushner used an Avid Meridian 1000 running on a Mac G4 to cut the project, incorporating his own edgy and sophisticated style.
Kushner has worked on numerous high-profile music video projects in the past, including Jay-Z's Can I Get A..., which was awarded "Best Rap Music Video" at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards.
