Using the eVTR plug-in card, MPEG IMX VTRs can transfer video segments as files over IP networks to other MPEG IMX VTRs or servers anywhere in the world. Additionally, the eVTR enables remote control of VTRs, allowing users in one location to roll tape on a VTR in another location.
