MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- A number of post facilities, including Tippett Studios, ReelFX, Efilm and Crawford, have purchased Silicon Graphics' InfiniteStorage solution as a way to better manage growing amounts of digital content through IT infrastructures. InfiniteStorage allows post facilities and broadcasters to optimize facility-wide workflows by leveraging advancements in the IT industry. Large amounts of data may be shared by many users without the need to actually move it. InfiniteStorage solutions optimize dataflow through the facility by providing true file sharing at production speeds with a choice of both networked attached storage (NAS) and storage area network (SAN) architectures.
