Post house Wild Brain (www.wildbrain.com) in San Francisco created the animation that places 20 characters in the 3D environment of the magic ship. The characters were hand drawn and then digital ink and paint were added with US Animation software. The 3D environment was created using Alias/Wavefront Maya and Mental Ray. Adobe After Effects was used to composite and animate the 20 characters frame-by-frame, giving the spot a stop-motion feel.
