Post, June, 2003

HOLLYWOOD -- Instructor Tamera Daugherty and the students at training and educational center Video Symphony (www.videosymphony.corn), here, recently completed editorial, graphics and animation for the independent documentary The Day My God Died. The film features commentary by Winona Ryder and Tim Robbins and focuses on five young women whom have escaped the black market child sex slave trade in Nepal and India.

The Video Symphony students used an Avid Symphony to online the feature and Digidesign's Pro Tools digital audio workstation for sound design, sound editing and the final mix.

Online editors for the project included John Moxley, Elle Karp, Kevin Church, Ken Junod and Mark Pompian. Church also handled the audio post. Moxley and Karp, along with George Parker, created graphics and titles.

The Day My God Died was co-produced by Ryder and was shown in early May as part of the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
