Post, June, 2003

SAN JOSE--Adding to its family of realtime NLEs, Canopus (www.canopus.com) is now offering the RES-150 and the RES Flex Series, a new line of custom-configurable video editing workstations.

At the heart of the RES systems is the DVStorm2, with hardware MPEG encoding and the StormBay breakout box, which delivers realtime performance, including five simultaneous video streams, unlimited title and graphics layers, 3D effects and DV output. The RES systems also provide realtime color correction with waveform/vectorscope, variable speed control, DV chroma key, auto white balance, region filter and more.

The RES-150 comes with a professional software bundle, including Canopus StormEdit, Imaginate and Xplode Professional V.4.0, Adobe Premiere V.6.5, After Effects V.5.5, Sonic Foundry Acid Style and a full version of Ulead DVD Workshop.

In addition to the realtime features and software found in the RES-150, advanced technology--such as dual Intel Xeon processors with Hyper-Threading Technology, Sonic Foundry Acid Pro 4.0 with Dolby Digital 5.1 channel surround mixing, Canopus ProCoder video transcoding tool and Boris FX--are also included in the RES Flex Series.
