MONTREAL -- Leveraging scalable CPU power with dedicated hardware, Matrox has released the Matrox RT.X100 realtime editing platform, based on its new "Power of X" architecture.
Matrox RT.X100 delivers full-resolution realtime editing at a price of $1,099, which includes the full version of Adobe's Premiere editing software.

In realtime, RT.X1 00 features DV output, DV scan and capture, MPEG-2 capture and encoding for DVD authoring, advanced color correction, chroma and luma keying, adjustable motion control, Matrox Flex 3D effects, composite and the freedom to combine and keyframe up to 16 effects at full quality.
