Corbis to deliver stock digitally - Post News

NEW YORK -- Stock footage provider Corbis Motion (www.corbismotioncom) has announced plans to launch a powerful research and digital clip delivery services. Stock footage users will be able to find and order preview footage online in what the company describes as a virtual screening room." They will also be able to take delivery of edit-ready motion clips for immediate use in a variety of nonlinear editing systems.

The first offering under this new initiative is called WebReel, which allows Corbis Motion researchers to forward research results online the instant research is completed.

"It creates an interactive creative environment," says Rick Wysocki, VP of Corbis Motion Brands. In addition to delivery by WebReel, requests can also be fulfilled on DVD or any traditional analog cassette format.

The second new Corbis Motion service is PowerPost, which provides customers with secure access to high-quality digital files in a variety of formats.
