HOLLYWOO -- Troika Design Group (www.troikadesigngroup.com) completed a new on-air identity package for the Country Music Television network. A member of the MTV Networks family, CMT wanted a new brand image that would reflect the energy of the new, younger roads country music is traveling while still paying respects to country's rich roots.

The production included a two-day element shoot. First, type layouts were printed onto large sheets of litho film, then cut out of translucent vinyl material and mounted on four-by-four-foot Plexiglas sheets. Finally, the elements were shot using various lighting effects, film speed ramps and camera moves. The filmed elements were then arranged in close choreography to the soundtrack using Adobe After Effects and Apple's Final Cut Pro.
