Boxx ships dual AMD Opteron workstations - Products

AUSTIN, TX -- Digital content creation system developer Boxx Technologies (www.boxxtech.com) is now shipping its 3DBoxx M4 workstations featuring dual AMD Opteron 240, 242 and 244 processors.

Designed for Microsoft Windows or Linux, 3DBoxx M4 workstations are enhanced With Nvidia Quadro architecture and optimized for modeling and rendering 3D content and animation.

The systems can be used with software programs such as Alias/Wavefront Maya, Discreet 3D5 Max, Softimage/XSI, NewTek LightWave 3D and Side Effects Houdini.

The base 3D Boxx M4 workstation includes Opteron 240 processors and sells for $2,393. Users should add $1,013 for the dual 242-processorsystem and $1,269 for the dual 244 workstation.
