Bionic Media relocates, adds talent

Post, July, 2005

NEW YORK -- Editorial and audio post house Bionic Media (www.bionic.tv), formerly known as Keyframe Post, has moved into a 9,000-square-foot studio here, and has added C. Scott Gorman and Andrew Malenda to its editorial roster.

Known for his visual style and music-driven cutting, editor Gorman comes to Bionic following three years at Northern Lights Post. He also spent time at MTV, where he worked as an editor and producer on shows such as MTV Uncensored, Cribs, Unfiltered and Diary.

Malenda also comes to Bionic Media following a stint at Northern Lights, where he worked on projects for Comedy Central, Bravo and Sci-Fi. Prior to that he was an editor at Refinery, New York.

With the recent move, Bionic Media has made significant additions to its equipment list, adding Avid DS|Nitris HD to its editorial capabilities, along with three Digidesign ICON audio consoles.

"We needed to grow as a company if we were going to succeed in the long-term," explains co-founder Steve Beal.
