Studio City, CA's Opus I Music Library has hired music industry veteran Steve Collins as the company's new VP of business development. Collins brings with him over 20 years of music business experience in the areas of A & R and music publishing. He began his career at MCA Records in the UK and has gone on to work as VP of film and television for Chrysalis Music.

His career also includes time at Virgin Music and EMI Music. Over the years, Collins has secured several music supervision credits, including on the soon-to-be-released Punk's Not Dead feature film. He has also composed songs that have appeared in numerous network television shows, including NCIS, Malcolm in the Middle and Dawson's Creek.
