MONTREAL -- Matrox (www.matrox.com) has introduced the RT.X100, its realtime editing platform, which leverages the power of the CPU with its own dedicated hardware. The RT.X100 comes bundled with Adobe Premiere V.6.5 for $1,099.

With Premiere, the RT.X100 delivers full-resolution editing and features realtime DV output, MPEG-2 capture and encoding for DVD authoring, advanced color correction, luma keying, chroma keying and adjustable motion control.

The RT.X100 also offers realtime effects, including 3D DVE, blur, ripple and cube, among others, and the ability to combine and keyframe up to 16 effects in realtime.
