SANTA MONICA -- Pepper Films (www.pepperfilms.net), which launched in August of 2002, recently moved into new space on 16th Street in Santa Monica.
Set up by animation director Jean Perramon, technical director/compositor Nick Bates and producer Christine Cox, the studio specializes in 2D and 3D animation, computer graphics, visual effects, live action production and compositing.
Pepper Films is outfitted with Adobe After Effects V.5.5, Avid Meridien, USAnimation Opus and Alias Maya 4.5. Its new space was previously occupied by a design firm and offers plenty of open space, along with offices and room for freelancers.

The facility regularly works with commercial clients and has been providing on-going services for Kellogg's Fruit Loops cereal campaign, "Fruit Monster," out of agency Leo Burnett in Chicago.
