JVC Professional Products Company in Wayne, NJ, has appointed Kirk Hirota president and CEO, replacing Mike Yoshida, who will be returning to Japan after serving as president from 2001-2004. As president, Hirota will continue to move the company's video creation and projection products into new and expanding markets.

Hirota is a newcomer to JVC Professional, but brings with him more than 20 years experience with Victor Company of Japan, JVC's parent company. He most recently designed the united strategies for the Victor Company of Japan's multiple professional business operations.
