MONTICELLO, IN -- Randy DeFord of Oak Road Multimedia (574-965-4854) recently completed work on his own independent short, Norma.
The comedy centers around a preachy, soapbox/activist daughter of a farmer who shows her own hypocrisy in trying to convince her neighbors of the validity of her causes.
DeFord wrote, directed, produced, scored and edited the seven-minute project, starring actress Cassandra Schomer. It was shot in North Central, Indiana, using Sony and JVC DV cameras.
The short was edited using Ulead Media Studio Pro. DeFord also handled sound design for the short.
