Post, Sept, 2004
NEW YORK -- Heavy Melody Music & Sound Design (www.heavymelodymusic.com) composer Neil Goldberg recently donated his scoring talents, creating a :60 orchestral piece for use in the second round of spots aimed at bringing the 2012 Olympic Games to New York City.
Produced by DDB New York, Dream begins with a live, heartfelt violin melody paired with black & white images of immigrants embarking on their American dreams in New York. As the music crescendos with live trumpets and flugelhorn, the images shift to color shots representing New York's dream of hosting the Olympic Games at locations in Manhattan and the other boroughs.

DDB creatives Mark Teringo and Barbara Eibel say they were looking for an emotional piece to underscore the spot's imagery, which was cut by Chris Bonanni of Cool Dry Place.
