The site provides broader market access for the goods and services of the finisher while lowering costs for the manufacturers. It also provides a site for suppliers to the industries to market their wares. The site, which has received two-thirds of its funding in this short stretch, offers real-time, business-to-business buying and selling opportunities between finishers of metals, plastics, printed circuit boards and the manufacturing community they serve. These buyers include manufacturers who form, fabricate, stamp, forge, extrude or injection mold either metal or plastic components that require surface treatment prior to final product assembly by OEMs in the automotive, appliance, plumbing fixtures, aerospace/military, computer and electronics industries.
