Bonderite[R] 196XT is a single package Nitrate/Nitrite process, which is said to reduce sludge production to 30% and chemical usage to 20%. The refined zinc phosphate shows a 10-20% reduction in manufacturing costs compared to conventional zinc phosphate processes. The process is an internally-accelerated polycrystalline zinc phosphate that is especially formulated to increase coating efficiency and help cut sludge production.
