Bonderite[R] 196XT is a single package Nitrate/Nitrite process, which is said to reduce sludge production to 30% and chemical usage to 20%. The refined zinc phosphate shows a 10-20% reduction in manufacturing costs compared to conventional zinc phosphate processes. The process is an internally-accelerated polycrystalline zinc phosphate that is especially formulated to increase coating efficiency and help cut sludge production.

It is designed for dip application on tubing prior to use of either reactive or non-reactive type lubricants.
