Book sales finance livestock

Charitable Heifer International donates livestock to poor communities around the world as an economic development and empowerment move to enable families to work and feed themselves and neighbors. Go online at www.heifer.org to choose anything from a flock of geese or chicks for $20, rabbits for $60 or a goat for $120. There are also pigs, cows, bees and other options.

Now the publisher of the children's book Beatrice's Goat will donate a portion of the proceeds for each copy sold to Heifer International.
